Welcome to Laura May Cupcakes! We are a home-based and fully licensed business based on the Gold Coast. We launched in May of 2025, hoping to share our delicious cupcakes with our local communities.

My name is Laura, I’m 22, and I’m born and raised here on the Gold Coast. Baking has been a hobby for me since I was young, with my Grandma teaching me all the tips and tricks of the trade. After completing my business degree, I knew that starting my own baking business was the next step for me. I believe business is about community, and what better way to bring people together than over some delicious cupcakes!

After spending many years chasing the stage and celebrating my love for musical theatre, I’ve learnt that the simple things in life bring us the most joy. Combining the simplest ingredients into the most delicious sweet treats, and sharing with them with my family and friends - this is why I’ve decided to share my cupcakes with you!

As a die hard chocolate lover, I’d have to recommend our Classic Chocolate Cupcakes, but its hard to go past our fresh and light Lemon & Poppy Seed Cupcakes. And we can’t forget about the kiddos! Theres no better way to make them feel extra special on their big day.
